Description
Fethiye market – Kayakoy (deserted Greek village) – Oludeniz (the blue lagoon)
We’ll visit the biggest market in the Lycian region where you can find all local products and textiles from Turkey. Then we will go to Kayaköy (ghost town) which is an abandoned Greek village left behind after the population exchange of Greeks and Turks in the 1920s. Kayaköy was made famous by Louis de Berniere’s book ‘Birds without Wings’.
Then we visit the most photographed beach in Turkey , Oludeniz (Blue Lagoon). Here we have free time to swim or enjoy the optional Turkish bath.
On our return we stop at the local Turkish Delight (lokum) factory to see how they make it and have a taste, then we drive back to Kalkan.
